Where to stay in Amsterdam: 5 reasons to pick Luxury Suites Amsterdam

A perfect notion of vacation in Amsterdam is staying next to a quiet canal view, where you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep and wake up to scenes of ducks swimming right outside your window.

A place to call your home away from home, situated in the heart of Amsterdam for quick access to all the amenities while still being nestled in tranquility.

Luxury Suites Amsterdam is one such hotel, which offers visitors, to the sex capital, a stay in the laps of luxury with convenience; if they have a deep pocket that is.

Perfect Location

Luxury Suites Amsterdam definitely offers a great location. The hotel is just 5 minutes away from any mode of transport including metro, trams etc. It’s also located very close to Hop-on and Hop-Off boat and bus stop.

There are grocery markets, hoards of restaurants and pubs a mere 2 minutes’ walk away. And despite having just a busy touristy neighborhood, the hotel is situated on a quiet canal street.

Big Rooms, Affordable Luxury

It’s very hard to find properties with spacious rooms in the main canal belt of Amsterdam city. Space is premium in the city center and luxury gets almost out of reach. A 25 sq. m room at De L’Europe or Andaz Amsterdam would cost more than €420 and Presidential Suites (around 55-65 sq. m) would cost more than €1000.

However, the choice of rooms offered by Luxury Suites Amsterdam starts at 50 sq. m with a price tag of €340 and goes up to €800 for a 90 sq. m room. A French balcony with some great views of Amsterdam and Oudeschans canal is well worth that tag.

There’s a small well-stocked kitchen in the room and the bath embellished with upmarket toiletries. Expect a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival and a friendly cheerful staff to assist you.

A Black Diamond Ring from Gassan Diamonds

Luxury Suites Amsterdam has a partnership with one of the best diamond jewelers in the city – Gassan Diamonds. With a €165 romantic package at the hotel, you can indulge your partner with a VIP treatment like never before.

On your arrival at the suite or penthouse room, you will be greeted with a bottle of Moët & Chandon, a black diamond ring, a beautiful bouquet of roses and rose petals everywhere. This will be followed by a personal tour of Gassan Diamonds. Unwind the next day with your partner courtesy breakfast in bed.

Good Gym, Excellent Lounge

The boutique hotel has some fantastic amenities like a well-equipped gym, a small bar lounge which serves tea, coffee, infused water 24/7 and some rather nice cocktails. There’s also a closed and comfortable sitting area near the entrance, which is a smoker’s lounge.

Further, the hotel also provides bike hire facility so that you can explore Amsterdam the traditional way. As we were informed, Luxury Suites Amsterdam also plans to open a spa soon.

Delicious Breakfast

Although 24/7 room service or restaurant service in the hotel is yet to arrive, Luxury Suites Amsterdam does provide a wonderful breakfast for its residents. There is quite a selection of vegan (vegetarian) and non-vegetarian options. The chef provides a personal touch to each dish in the basket of offerings.

One can indulge in a variety of options starting from Dutch Pancakes, healthy fruit bowls, fruity yogurts, a variety of dishes in eggs in all styles including English, Arabian, Latin and more.

Other facilities include Schiphol Airport Pick-up and drop service, complimentary valet parking, and concierge service.
